Hi All,

I want to assay luciferase by cell lysis.

Can I use RIPA Buffer
(50 mM Tris HCl,
150 mM NaCl,
1.0% (v/v) IGEPAL® CA-630,
0.5% (w/v) Sodium Deoxycholate,
mM EDTA,
0.1% (w/v) SDS
and 0.01% (w/v) sodium azide at a pH of 7.4) + 4 μl of 25 x protease inhibitor stock solution for every 96 μl buffer added freshly before use ?

I am not sure if SDS & Sodium Deoxycholate can keep luciferase enzyme in a good condition?
