      Hi everyone,

Could you recommend a reliable source for H5/T.ni cells? We are looking to purchase some.

      Thank you!

      Yael

      Dear Yael,

we are using T.ni from Expression Systems (cat# 94-002F),
with ESF921 medium from Expression Systems (cat# 94-00101).

      We are satisfied with them.
We grow them at @27ºC, but we use them also at @22ºC for protein production.
It is protein dependant, we advise to try what works best for you.

      cheers

      Regis

      Daer Yael,
the High Five of Thermo Fisher (BTI-TN-5B1-4) is also very good. We have adapted these cells to EXCELL405 medium from Sigma. This is the best for TGE with our pOpIE2 expression vectors. The Express Five medium is also a good alternative. Use high passage cells even for that medium as wel. We have good results at 27 °C.

      Best regards Joop
