Bjørn VoldborgParticipantHi All,
A former colleague of mine is now working in nanotempertech and sent me the following request.
“We are thinking of applying for a project grant, where we would need IgGs (variants) expressed and purified (final amount approx. 1 mg, Protein A purification level purity would be good enough). We are thinking in the range of 100s of molecules. Do you know of any Germany based core facilities that does something like this?”
Is there anyone in Germany who could be up for this?

Malin BäckströmParticipantHi Björn, if Sweden would be OK, we have within Protein Production Sweden a facility in Stockholm (Royal Institute of Technology) working with mammalian cells, that is set-up to make parallel productions. If that is of interest, I could connect you! Or look at http://www.pps.gu.se.

Joop van den HeuvelParticipantHI Björn,
this is what we are doing. Highly parallel production of hFc tagged proteins. (which includes IgGs). The timing will be critical because we are setting up the system for 200 Lectinebodies (Fc-fusions) in higher mg amounts. This will keep us busy for this year probably. So the contact person can send me a mail for discussing the timelines. IgGs from cell culture in 1 mg scale however should not be too difficult.
Best regards Joop -
