Dear Colleague,

the Italian National Research Council and Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste are planning to establish a cryogenic electron microscopy facility (cryo-EM) in Trieste.

This new cryo-EM facility will complement the present offer of the synchrotron radiation beamlines XRD1, XRD2, SAXS and MCX for structural biology at Elettra. We expect that the cryo-EM facility will also have applications in cellular and molecular biology and open new paths to biological discoveries both in academia and private sector.

We would appreciate if you could take a few minutes to answer a short survey that will help us to evaluate your potential interest in this new cryo-EM facility, with particular reference to scientific fields and applications that might be of interest to the user community.
